A passionate, final year sound engineering student, with a special interest in working with bands and creating music. Enjoys being part of a team in working on different projects, especially when a creative aspect is involved.
Relevant experience
2012-2013 recorded several bands in professional studios
• Gained experience in dealing with a band and their needs, in a studio environment.
• Worked with analog desks such as, Soundcraft Ghost, Amek Enstein, or digital consoles such as Control 24 or Yamaha DM2000, also, familiar with a variety of outboard effects and preamps.
Summer of 2010 2011 and 2012 organizer of live music concerts
• Responsibilities included: dealing with musicians, preparing the stage and the venue, FOH and monitor engineering, advertising, raising funds.
• This experience developed my skills as an engineer, in dealing with important people and meeting deadlines.
Winter break of 2012 worked as audio/video editor for ITV Romania.
• Responsibilities included: audio and video montage for the news report.
• This experience developed my skills in working in a professional environment, dealing with superiors, and premier pro video montage software
Since 2008 played in several bands (live concerts and studio sessions)
• I gained experience as a performer, which enabled me to understand and develop a better workflow with the artist as a sound engineer.
• Learned to work in a team and trained my perseverance.
Skills

Studio environment: Familiarity with a variety of recording and mixing techniques, a wide range of microphones, analog and digital desks (Control 24, Einstein) , and a good understanding of signal routing.

Live sound environment: Familiar with signal routing, cables and connectors, live mics and placement techniques, confident in using parametric EQ, compressors, gates, effects, sends and returns. Mostly worked on digital consoles.

Synthesis and MIDI: Familiar with the methods of synthesis including sampling.

Audio Production for film: Initiated in all the aspects of post-production for film such as, ADR, foley, sound effects, music, editing and mixing, also with the equipment involved such as boom mics, wireless recorders, different mixing consoles and effects.

Softwares: Pro Tools 10, Logic Pro, Reason and D-show.

Languages: English, Romanian and Hungarian

Computing: Familiarity with Windows packages including: Word, Powerpoint, Excel.
